Named after la paloma, the dove, an eternal symbol of peace.

This pillow was designed in California and handcrafted by an indigenous, all women artisan group located near Antigua, Guatemala. The fabric is handwoven with skill and care using a traditional backstrap loom, a technique native to the region. The randa down the center of the pillow is a functional and decorative embroidery technique used to combine two sections of fabric together. Each piece takes multiple days to produce.
