Much of my childhood was spent admiring interiors, patterns and textiles, and dreaming of ways I could work with these passions in a concrete way. Needless to say, this deep rooted interest only became stronger over the years. It was something my mom and I had in common; we bonded over a mutual love for thoughtfully designed objects and weekends were spent perusing our favorite shops in our northern California town. After the birth of my first son, I felt inspired to create something of my own - something tangible that could bridge past and future generations. In 2018, Frida Faxen was born.

Our mission is simple: to help you create a home that is uniquely yours.

We are always hunting for distinct pieces to express your character, values and style. A lot of love and energy goes into sourcing objects that will be cherished and passed on for years to come. Our bespoke handwoven textile line has been created in partnership with indigenous artisans from Guatemala who have spent years honing their century-old craft. We are honored to work with such talented, dedicated artisans. We believe in supporting women and underrepresented communities, promoting fair trade practices, and sustainable, slow design.
